2024年11月29日至12月1日，第二十二屆“貿(mào)仲杯”國際商事仲裁模擬仲裁庭辯論賽初賽在線上舉行。我所權(quán)益合伙人譚岳奇律師于11月30日以及12月1日以仲裁員身份擔(dān)任兩場辯論的裁判。
“貿(mào)仲杯”是由中國國際經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易仲裁委員會舉辦，面向法學(xué)院校的仲裁法律專業(yè)年度競賽。“貿(mào)仲杯”自2000年創(chuàng)辦至今，已成功舉辦二十一屆，吸引了來自兩百余所著名高等院校的逾萬名學(xué)生參加比賽。“貿(mào)仲杯”以促進(jìn)中國及全球國際化仲裁法律人才培養(yǎng)為宗旨，通過同步引入國際先進(jìn)模擬仲裁庭賽題、模擬實(shí)戰(zhàn)等方式，推廣仲裁制度，提升中國和國際廣大青年學(xué)子的法律素養(yǎng)和仲裁實(shí)戰(zhàn)能力。“貿(mào)仲杯”既是Willem C. Vis Moot國際商事仲裁模擬仲裁庭（“Vis Moot”）的國內(nèi)選拔賽，也是Vis Moot認(rèn)可的全球首場賽前賽，使用與Vis Moot相同的案例與仲裁規(guī)則，比賽語言為英文。
譚岳奇律師具有豐富的涉外法律實(shí)務(wù)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。賽前，譚律師充分閱讀案件材料；線上辯論中，與申請人以及被申請人積極互動(dòng)，展示了縝密的法律思維以及裁判邏輯。
Vis Moot (Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot) 是為紀(jì)念已故著名國際商法學(xué)家Willem C. Vis先生而舉辦的模擬仲裁庭賽事。它是聯(lián)合國國際貿(mào)易法委員會和維也納大學(xué)等機(jī)構(gòu)在世界范圍內(nèi)舉辦的模擬仲裁庭賽事，也是全球規(guī)模最大、歷史最悠久的模擬仲裁庭賽事之一。自1994年開始每年春季在奧地利維也納舉辦，每年約有300支來自世界各地的高校參賽。2003年起，它的東方賽場Willem C. Vis (East) Moot 在香港開辦。
Yueqi(Vincent) TAN Serves as an Arbitrator in 22nd CIETAC CUP International Commercial Arbitration Moot
From 29th November to 1st December, 2024, the preliminary round of the 22nd CIETAC Cup International Commercial Arbitration Moot was held online. An equity partner, Mr. Yueqi(Vincent) Tan, participated as an arbitrator in two debates on 30th November and 1st December.
The CIETAC Cup is an annual competition for law schools organized by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC). Since its inception in 2000, the CIETAC Cup has been successfully held for 21 sessions, attracting more than 10,000 students from more than 200 prestigious institutions to participate in the competition. With the aim of promoting the cultivation of international arbitration legal talents in China and around the world, the “CIETAC Cup” promotes the arbitration system and enhances the legal literacy and practical arbitration ability of young students in China and internationally by simultaneously introducing international advanced mock arbitration tribunal quizzes and simulated actual combat. The CIETAC Cup is not only a domestic selection competition for the Willem C. Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vis Moot), but also the world's first pre-competition tournament recognized by Vis Moot, using the same cases and arbitration rules as Vis Moot, and the language of the competition is English.
Mr. TAN has extensive experience in foreign-related legal practice. Due to a full preparation before the competition, he actively interacted with the claimant and the respondent in the online debate of the CIETAC Cup, demonstrating meticulous legal thinking and adjudication logic.
The Vis Moot (Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot) is an arbitration moot organized in memory of the late Mr. Willem C. Vis, a renowned international commercial jurist. As one of the largest and oldest moot competitions in the world, it is organized by United Nations Commission on International Trade Law(UNCITRAL), University of Vienna and other institutions. It has been held every spring since 1994 in Vienna, Austria, with approximately 300 colleges and universities from all over the world competing each year. Since 2003, its Eastern venue, the Willem C. Vis (East) Moot has been held in Hong Kong.
